Denise Browning has over 30 years of experience in the retail/shopping
center industry. Her expertise includes marketing, specialty leasing and leasing of a vast array of retail projects/properties. She began her career in the marketing arena in Charlotte, North Carolina as Advertising Director and Special Events Manager with Belk. Denise also brought a fresh perspective and expertise to her Marketing and Leasing roles in the Charlotte Market with Carter and Associates, Trammell Crow Company and Divaris Real Estate.
Next, Denise transitioned into a Director of Leasing Role with Madison Marquette. During her ten years at Madison, she was promoted to VP of Leasing and SVP of Leasing based in Fort Worth, Texas. Denise was consistently one of the firm’s top producing agents. Following her tenure with Madison, Denise joined Centennial Real Estate as SVP, National Leasing. In these roles, she served the Midwest, Mid Atlanta and Southeast markets.
Denise is experienced in permanent and specialty leasing, lease negotiation, lease administration and the strategic remerchandising plans for existing centers. She is currently a leasing consultant based in Fort Worth, Texas.
Denise has experience with neighborhood, community, mixed-use, lifestyle and regional and super-regional malls. She has worked with third party clients such as Nuveen, Principal, Prudential, CBRE, USAA and Inland.
Denise Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Clothing and Textiles from Virginia Tech. She is a licensed real estate broker in Texas.
Denise was named one of Charlotte Business Journal’s 40 under 40 based on her significant industry and community contributions. She has been an ICSC volunteer for over 20 years. She has held many leadership positions, recently State Director of Texas.
In addition to her professional background, Denise has been an active member of The Junior League, Chair of
The Platinum Women of the Fort Worth Club and serves as a board member of The Women’s Center of Tarrant County.
